Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of South Carolina and has served in the financial industry since 1987. When Steve entered the financial services industry he had one goal: Helping people better understand and navigate the world of personal finance. With a vision to build his firm based on trust and respect, Steve has far exceeded that objective.
He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a Registered Representative with Cambridge Investment Research, and a Financial Advisor with Cambridge Investment Research Advisors, Inc. He holds his Series 6 (Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Limited Representative), Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam), Series 22, and Series 24 registrations through Cambridge Investment Research, and state Life, Accident, Health, and Annuities insurance licenses.

Steve is very involved in his community, having served on various civic and church boards. Steve and his spouse since 1983, Shannon, reside in Greenville, SC and are longtime members of St. John’s United Methodist Church. Steve and Shannon have two children, their daughter Blair Sucher and her husband Rob, who reside in Atlanta, GA, along with their two sons Jones and Steele. Their son Will is a practicing advisor at Foothills Wealth Management. Will and his wife Molly live in Greenville with their son, Rollins, and daughter, Lucy.
In Steve's spare time you will find him spending time with Shannon, and family, in Cashiers, NC. Very avid hikers, and outdoorsmen.
